Our namesake event for over 40 years: an annual two-week chamber music festival in Halifax, boasting over fifty public events — concerts, recitals, open rehearsals, masterclasses and more, with international talent of the highest calibre.

Our Young Artist Program has been central to Scotia Festival since 1980. Over an immersive two-week summer program, Young Artists gain hands-on experience with some of the industry's premier musicians.
Chamber-music coachings, private lessons, masterclasses and performance opportunities — including the chance to perform alongside our guest artists at the final orchestral gala concert.
